Since its introduction, the Superior Maxicage™ system has been a robust and direct fastening system for ball cage retention. By utilizing an endcap made fast by a socket head cap screw, instead of slots and smaller hardware for cage retention, the system allows the ball cage to freely rotate when not engaged. While being strong enough to protect the cages during handling and transport.
To aid in availability Superior Components has made the decision to stock all ball bearing pins tapped to accept the maxi cage endcaps. That means all in-stock Superior ball bearing pins are compatible for the Maxicage™ system, even those with slots. True Maxicage™ pins, without the slots are available made to order. This move dramatically increases the flexibility of our inventory to serve customers better.
