For over 30 years Superior has been producing the dual fusion cast Bronze-Rite™ bushings. In 2025 we have expanded this high-quality offering to include D-Style bushings, alongside our L-Style bushings, and the traditional Superior offerings.

The Bronze-Rite™ dual fusion casting process has many advantages – It puts more bronze in the bearing area – 0.015” to 0.025” per side, which increases lubricity compared to solid steel bushings and allows the bushings to be honed to the desired clearance required for the application. This bronze is not only thicker but is bonded via the dual fusion casting process this means that bronze rite bushings will not “chip out” or crack like plated bushings. In fact, if you drill a hole through our bushings the steel and bronze will not separate, not even on the chips!

This makes Superior Bronze-Rite™ bushings an excellent combination of performance and value compared to other bronze plated bushings and solid bronze bushings. Custom Bronze-Rite™ bushings are also available.
